Gunung Yong Belar
Height: 2181 m (3rd highest in Peninsular Malaysia)
Location: Cameron Highland, Pahang
Starting Point: 3 km walk from Blue Valley settlement.
Water Point: Before 1 hour to summit
Summit Temperature: 5 - 15 degree celcius
Highlights: Mossy Forest
Situated in the region of Cameron Highlands, Pahang.
Starting point was in the end of Cameron Highlands and is already a high level ground. Therefore not much ascend has to be made to reach the summit. It is only need about 6 to 7 hours to reach the summit, this route which will pass by Gunung Charlie. At top of Gunung Yong Belar you could enjoy the beautiful scenery where many mountain surrounding you and have many exotic species of flora and fauna. Whereas on the way to the starting point you can see the vegetable plantation farm as well.
